The writing on the wall(s)

Colors respond to the senses – literature to the spirit. Add a message to your rooms: Enhance the atmosphere/ambience, show what kind of spirit lives here or entertain your guests. In your private home, in offices or public buildings.

  • Wall in the exhibit room of a painter.
  • A wall in a Catholic convention centre in Bavaria. A quote about water (Jesaia 12,3) “flows” towards a well where visitors and guests can get natural water coming directly from the nearby Bavarian Forest.
  • The owner of the house wanted their house number written in a graffiti style. The numbers were drwan, enlarged and stencilled on the wall.
  • A detail of the wall. The words have different importance expressed by the size. To avoid that the big ones become too heavy looking I toned them down in two steps.
  • The staff of a Catholic convention centre in Bavaria developed a mission statement and they wanted 60 words/terms of it to be displayed on two walls in one of the recreation/common rooms with the title in the center.
  • For a retirement home I wrote the orientation system. The management wanted a calligraphic solution because the writing looks less technical than typography.
  • This quote by Picasso was written in the entrance hall of the home of an art collector.
  • Design of a quote by Churchill and a row of words about enjoying food for a restaurant. Written on the wall spontaneously with a flat brush.
